The effort to impeach President Donald John Trump is already underway.
At the moment the new commander in chief was sworn in, a campaign to build public support for his impeachment went live at ImpeachDonaldTrumpNow.org, spearheaded by two liberal advocacy groups aiming to lay the groundwork for his eventual ejection from the White House.

Needless to say, that is not how it is supposed to work.
Trump’s best ally has always been the supine, spineless GOP Senate.

The first thing the senate will do is set the rules, which only takes a simple majority. They could make it interesting, should the Dems convince 4 Republicans to crossover.
Won’t happen, but that is the only point where things have the slightest chance of being interesting.
But, since you're a self-important douche, I shouldn't be surprised. My bad.
Assuming the economy continues to hum, while Trump undoes the trade war mess he created, and manages to stay out of his way, .... Trump has a decent chance to win another term. But, even with a great economy, it is still a jump ball in 2020.
Yet, November is 11 months away. Plenty of runway to crash.
And better yet, assuming Trump is re-elected, that means 5 more years to govern a nation.
If things go awry in a big way (before or after November), either because of Trump's malfeasance and/or because his unfitness is fully exposed amidst a national or world event/crisis, .... it will be too late for the GOP to unhitch their wagons.
All members of Congress and the Senate who passed on the opportunity to impeach/remove his corrupt ass from office, ... and who have passionately vouched for Trump .... will have nowhere to walk back. They will be ousted. Every last one of them.
The reckoning will be more dramatic than the French or Russian revolutions. The only question is WHEN?
The trade war was the tool to reign in China. It has helped bring the prosperity, and it took a real world business man to understand how it could be used to solve the Chinese Tarif and currency manipulation problem. It was a solution that wouldn’t occur to a community organizer.

Then Lindsey, and Moscow Mitch, and the rest of the enablers will have nowhere to run.
Their full embrace of this fraud will come back in a big way. Should have hedged their bets and supported a censure.

My strong sense is that the white male dominated GOP is fully aware of the rapidly changing demographics.
They know their days are numbered.
Yet, I remain gravely disappointed by the GOP's intellectual dishonesty and utter betrayal of their oaths of office that we have witnessed over the past 3 years.
There is long game opportunity in the GOP, but it requires moral courage ... for which they have none.
impeached, it’s wrong to judge before hearing and seeing the evidence. When it’s the prez of his party, he won’t even look at the evidence.

The minority leader in the Senate, Moscow Mitch - not some fringe political action group. I guess you could say, a Deep State coup
I know, he was in the right to say this, yes?

according to his defenders? The defense of scalawags and criminals.

removable are another thing. Both also claimed that their enemies were out to get them since day one as did Tricky Dick. Typical play by the guilty.
I thought the impeachment of Clinton was ludicrous, but more despicable were his Pavlov's dog followers on the left, especially those including the feminists who smeared those women.
Here, although I think he’s guilty as shit, I agree with Turley that the lack of direct evidence is an issue. I would vote to censure but not impeach. What though is again more disturbing is the full throated defense of the indefensible by the morons like Collins, Gym, Gaetz, and Meadows. They are despicable to claim this guy wasn’t shaking down a foreign govt for personal political gain. They should be ashamed.
It’s also funny how history does tend to straighten things out in the end. Clinton is now looked upon with disgust by many more Americans. So will Orange at the end of the day. And these enabler clowns also won’t be remembered well.
other way and Trump is rewarded for obstructing justice, claiming unbridled exec privilege, blocking witness testimony, producing sanitized non-transcipt summaries and
refusing to provide the Mueller grand jury findings.
Anything less than a full hearing of facts means we have to make conclusions based on what is known. There has been testimony already, none of it exculpatory. None of
the underlying facts have been contradicted. There was a shakedown aka bribery and extortion.
Pelosi has more than a few cards left to play and now can slow play them while the sword of Damocles hangs over Donnie's orange head.

Horowitz.
For example, the lawyer for the "whistleblower" tweeted "The coup starts today" when Trump was inaugurated.
That is pretty good evidence that they were out to get Trump from before day one. Not to mention that Pelosi admitted it in an interview earlier this week, when asked whether she thought the impeachment was proceeding too quickly, she answered that they have been working on the impeachment for 2 1/2 years.
water by finding no bias and proper predicate. He didn’t even say the Page warrant lacked for PC.
I understand that the facts upset you. I can't do anything about that. But you will note that Chris is not fighting me on this. At least he recognizes that it isn't smart to fight the facts in this case. I realize you are not so cautious.
Feel free to have the last word by trying to deflect to another issue to provoke a response from me.
claiming the occurrence of a coup
left? One, in a tweet that was likely a joke, something you will say with a straight face that Orange was doing when asking Russia to hack Clinton’s emails. On the other hand, the far right conspiracy wackos have been seriously claiming this coup nonsense from the start in droves.
What 94 does or doesn’t do has no impact on me. I disagree with him as much as I do with you. Read my Obama posts if you don’t believe it.
All ideologues are about the same to me. I will say though the ludicrousness of your crowd and you in defending this clown prolly takes the cake.

They are willfully sacrificing 31 Reps in Trump districts to save their own hides.

In fact, I’m much more disgusted with the MAGA morons that he sells his BS to than with him.
The way they dismiss his behavior and lying is disgusting. The only real comparison I can make is the way some of the lefties would defend the indefensible with Clinton.
