Reaching then pushing the boundaries and limits of absurdity as always.

Unbelievable that the RNC has normalized the JAN 6th insurrection as "good ol' politics."
It is particularly stupid, given the mounting evidence from the JAN 6th committee.

really, really hard choices for Ned...Un...be...lievable.
Such is the state of the GOP and conservatism today...

A career criminal died on a street because he couldn't control his drug habit. He was then transformed into a saint and martyr
and largely an unforgivable summary of Americans protesting the almost sanctioned killings of our black brothers and sisters by police officers (mostly white officers) who gave their oath to protect all American citizens.
How about you regroup and note the fire storm created by the last president, the man who was organizing a coup and insurrection through the misuse of our government and inspiring the gullible deplorable’s to attack those in the Capitol building to change the election results to install trump, breaking our democracy.
There is nothing similar in these two events no matter how hard you and your brethren here say they are. Your equivalence meter is broken.
it’s almost double.
Ps- too many things to add - however, where are the videos of white men being killed by police unjustly? We do have many videos of black men being killed for minor infractions having their lives terminated unjustly.
But this is now about your false equivalency. You see white people attack our government and immediately point out black people protest too. Sincerely brain dead justification.

While I disagree that 1/6 was a coup attempt or insurrection, it was certainly not "legitimate political discourse". Depressing.
Actually didn't know there was a formal announcement from the RNC. I just figured that Jim was having a moment.
Deviance from the Trump Party line will obviously not be tolerated.
I'm sure the Trump Party people on here are proud.
trials get rolling...I'm having a hard time envisioning him as the "Owner" of anything...additionally, key GOP donors (e.g. Ken Griffin) are vehemently against him...so, combine all that with DT's other feuds (e.g. McConnell, DeSantis, etc.) and he's back in familiar territory...i.e. "owning" a bankrupt enterprise...
Much can change before 2024, but nothing regarding Trump will change for the better, so the GOP needs to get started in earnest to line up alternate candidates who will appeal to big donors...and to conservative voters.

71% of your friends? 71% of the R DC elite? 71% of Neil Young entourage? 71% of Liz Cheney's relatives? The fact that you are getting no sleep thinking of the midterms and the general is what keeps this open board energized every day.
just for giggles...how do you see Donald Trump resurrecting himself and becoming the 2024 GOP nominee?...please don't forget to include an assessment of how he avoids a 'Sedition' charge for his Jan. 6th insurrection strategy that included having the military, or the DOJ, or Homeland Security seize voting machines...btw, such a conviction would ban him from public office...and there are just short of three years yet to go...now that I think of it, that 71% figure could get a whole lot larger...would you put your life savings behind such a candidate?
Oh, and here's a bio on Ken Griffin...he likes to donate to Republicans...and DJT isn't one of them...I'm betting it'll be anyone else in 2024.

Your first mistake was invoking the name of Ken Griffin. You saw anti-Trump "R" and that turned you on. The fact that this rich political genius has thrown his money and support for an Illinois R candidate for governor (Richard Irvin) is all you needed. Richard Irvin is a part time R and a full time BLM lefty who voted for Biden. Griffin's candidate bombed so badly the other day under scrutiny from the media that he ended the interview and left. LOL. That's Griffin's candidate. That's who you are parading around as a source. You are brilliant. The more you speak, the better it is for the conservative side.
Trump to run in 2024...that's a BIG DEAL...Mr. Griffin is just one Republican donor, albeit a very rich one, who won't be helping to fund any Trump campaign, nor perhaps any other who swears allegiance to him...
So, what have you to say about the "71%"?....that's more than a 2:1 ratio...and it was him running against Biden, or all people....no one wins with that kind of polling...and what Party would want to be "Owned" by such a "candidate"?
The more you dig in, the more embarrassing it gets for you. You don't know what you're talking about. You lost. You have no numbers. You have no argument. Just let it ride. You've learned a painful lesson. This open forum is not your knitting circle.

Try to respond for once rather than deflect with horse shit.
There were no censures of either you mentioned. Just try not to whatabout. Just once.

But, I can understand why you would like to ban the use of whataboutism, since it exposes the Left on virtually every issue.
So fucking sick of it.
What's really funny is that you seem to call non-whataboutism whataboutism all the time. Would be easier if you just admit you don't have a counter-argument.
Noting the hypocrisy of the other side is the easiest, laziest and most pointless tactic in political debate. It does nothing to advance any argument.
