prison.
The Guardian tries to go in depth in their research but seems to have an angle that doesn't quite conform to the facts but in the end, we can see that Ms Moses
is dealt with harshly for asking to have her voting rights restored - the judge says she "“You tricked the probation department into giving you documents saying you were off probation,”
- where White men of Republican persuasion are given token hand slaps for actual and intended voter fraud.
There are many publications covering this story and having read several of them, in the end they all note the issue is somewhat baffling as she didn't actually commit voter fraud or intend to.
Link: Six Year sentence for "tricking the probation department..."
fraudulently filling out his deceased wife's ballot, but used every public forum he could...before he was caught... to say it was voter fraud "against Donald Trump"...thus amplifying his crime...yet he got probation.
Ms. Moses gets six years after being told by officials that it was okay for her to vote...that is NOT justice.
not about the actual issue.
white supremacy in action? I know you guys love playing the race card but you tip toed up to the line here without saying it.
Also - there is an example that has 4 white males committing voter fraud - not by mistake but intentionally voting fraudulently,
(In other words, they had to plan this and actively know they were voting illegally) receiving probation - one receiving 3 days
in jail.
I pointed out a contrast.
How about you addressing that -
Your ridiculous premise of cherry pickiing an isolated case and comparing it to others elsewhere with different circumstances could only hold water in your mind. Very scientific.
Me, I don't don't a flying fuck either way but since you brought it up and showed a "contrast" I was just curious what you thought. I knew I wasn't going to get a direct answer because that is how you roll. If you are going to play the race card, just play it like Chris and Conor, don't dance around it.
given 7 years probation. Sentence guidelines change with convictions.

of the other guys are. Different states, different laws and different sentencing guidelines. Moses is a fraud in which she pled to in 2015. If she didn’t have them felony convictions she might have skated. Be proud and fly your BLM flag in your all white neighborhood.
received even harsher sentences for actual voter fraud?
You see, you miss the whole thing and it appears to be a pandemic with you R's here.
She didn't commit voter fraud (though the prosecutor in Memphis is touting this as an achievement in voter fraud crime
sentencing which shows D's are committing massive voter fraud), she requested information on whether or not she
could vote after serving her time in jail.
The point is the contrasting views of judges, states and reasoning when it comes to color and justice in this country. And the contrast
on having been convicted, served time and now being allowed to legally vote in this country. Those white men will be allowed to vote soon
as their convictions were soft - Ms. Moses a black woman likely won't be able to vote ever again. Not because of voter fraud but because
she requested information about her voting status.
from the Guardian.
On a side note, this issue of Pamela Moses is baffling even the NY Post and that says a lot.
stiffer sentence? You started this thread, give your opinion on it.

and perjury. The I didn’t know defense isn’t a good defense with her record.
on her voting status. The election officials and probation office incorrectly informed her, her voting rights
had been reinstated before correcting that to having made an error in their determination informing her
her voting rights are still revoked. She did not commit voter fraud. She was sentenced to 6 years
because the judge said she tricked the probation department in her request.
You need to either read the information given or have someone explain it to you.
any type of probation which would make a big difference In sentencing. Maddow also didn’t mention Moses PLED guilty to the charges I mentioned in my previous post. Moses was given 7 years probation for them charges. This second time she wasn’t so lucky.
You should note - the reason for this 6 year sentence by the judge is he felt she had deceived her probation officers and the election board by asking what
her status is as a citizen. She didn't actually vote, only made a request for information and a certificate for voting. Her convictions and subsequent probation
are the reasons for her request - So how is that suddenly illegal and trickery? Again, she didn't actually vote.
However, the four dudes in the Maddow piece did vote illegally and on top of that, they did it intentionally with full knowledge they were doing so.
Do you see the contrast here or is this still too difficult for you?

To answer your outrage, all voting fraud should be punished harshly and equally. Now to do that, we will need conservative judges who interpret and follow the law as written, rather than seeing it as a "living, breathing thing" which can be changed to fit their whim. Thus, you make an excellent case for voting Republican, and specifically for Donald J Trump.
Welcome to MAGA ville my friend! We knew you'd eventually get here too.
the biggest abusers of illegal voting.
There is no such thing as massive voter fraud. It's a fallacy promoted by Republicans like you.
But do go on and deflect with lies and stupidity - you're not in a cult.
as it is written rather than as a living, breathing document which results in inconsistent sentencing.
Again, welcome to MAGAville.
But yes, on a side note a national or federal program in voting might be a better idea. Better than having locals
decide who can vote and who cannot. It's obvious there is an issue with race when voting is involved.
