These increased have occurred after the Vaccine mandates were employed. Can this we just a coincidence?

It matches the country as a whole.
About a year ago right-wingers used to try to pretend that anti-vax dotards were somehow equally distributed across parties. I laughed at that then, and laugh at it now.
Keep on waving the flag of freedom, morons.

I can't stand Trump and would prefer a different candidate. I also support vaccination for the population that is actually vulnerable, and disagree with mandates for everyone. I especially don't agree with vaccinating children who are more likely to be struck by lightning than dying from this disease. I agree with vaccinating them against Polio, MMR, and the like because those actually work.
death rates, as the attached link explains...personally, I wish the article talked more about kids being 'spreaders' as well...that's an important aspect of combating a pandemic, too.
I'll also reference our own family ID Specialist here, who has three kids in the 5-11 yr age group...they have been vaccinated and will be boosted when necessary due to the exceptionally transmissible Omicron variant.
As the link I posted earlier from Johns Hopkins states...vaccines for kids are highly effective...and safe...please trust the CDC...they have a LONG history of doing the right thing to keep people healthy, and that includes Polio, MMR, etc...they haven't changed their 'stripes' all of a sudden.

" The only way out of this pandemic is vaccination."
B.S. Natural immunity is real. Both my kids had it 3 weeks ago with hardly an issue. The so-called "experts" you keep citing are logic-challenged educated idiots. Hospitals are not being overrun with sick kids. Here in SC we never had more than 10 kids in the hospital at any one time, and I got that straight from Melanie Barton in the governor's office. So if other areas are unnecessarily putting kids into hospitals it's strictly either a gross over-caution or doing it to get that free $13,000 government money per patient. The fact still remains - usually buried in the next-to-last paragraph of lengthy news stories about this - is that the death rate for under-20 is statistically paltry, far less than for flu, and hospitalization for kids is statistically rare. But who cares about stats when we have fear and hysteria to rely on?
absolutely no valid reason not to get the shots...other than pure politics.
Until you understand and acknowledge this it is impossible to get you to see the other sides point of view.
vaccinations...they had your best interests in mind then...they still do...
If I thought for one moment that the "other side" had the demonstrated knowledge, commitment and success that our CDC, et al has, I'd "listen"...but whoever they are...they don't...and you should know this...our CDC, et al, didn't magically 'morph' into political operatives in the last two years...they are still our line of defense in a pandemic...it's that simple.

Only old and vulnerable people worry about getting a flu shot every year, because they are the people that the flu is likely to kill. We don't vaccinate children and young adults forcefully to protect the old teachers who might die from the flu, those people get the vaccine to protect themselves.
The same is true with Covid, if you would stop and actually think about it. You and people who talk about vaccinations keep saying that we will beat this or go back to normal or some other nonsense once we are all vaccinated. But it is not going away, and if we had 100% vaccination and boosting it still would not be gone, people would pass it around without getting tested because they are asymptomatic, and the "breakthrough" infections would find out that it is still here, and some people would still die.
If you have gone and gotten your booster, that is doing everything you can to protect yourself. You want to mask up, go for it. You want to run around in a bubble, I'm not going to stop you. But you have no way of knowing if the person who did not get the shot standing next to the person who did, who both ended up catching it anyway, is the one who brought it around you. All you can do is make yourself stronger. It is not up to you to decide for anyone else that they have to make themselves do it.
The article is written in order to get you to feel like you have to get your kid a vaccine. All the kids who came in with Covid were unvaccinated! How many was that? They are all going to get vaccinated now! So they lived, you don't vaccinate a corpse. You also probably don't need that vaccine now that you've had the disease, but sure, if it makes mommy feel good about Tommy not getting it again. Dr. Offit says we can't boost our way out, only vaccinating everyone will work, or we'll deal with this every winter! It is most likely going to be here every winter, and it seems to like July - August as well, so expect it then.
Your ID doc is welcome to do with his kids what he wants, I suppose he thinks that will protect his kids, and if another parent chooses otherwise, it is not up to him or the state to take those kids away. I don't understand what he thinks dosing his kids with a vaccine that is shown to not prevent the transmission of Omicron is going to do to help them in reality, since at most they would probably end up with the sniffles and stay home from school, but I sincerely hope for his sake and yours that none of them develop any medical issues when they obviously don't actually need to take a vaccine. You have no real idea of how safe the vaccine is for children for the same reasons people ran around talking about not knowing the long term effects of having had Covid, there is no long term data available.
I respect your opinion and believe you have the right to make your own informed decision, same goes for your ID doc, and the only thing people here are saying is that perhaps they don't see it the same way, and you should respect their ability to make a choice for themselves rather than mandating them do as you think best.

we've all seen blatant examples of dis and mis-information by others who have either no knowledge at all, or the demonstrably flawed studies of those who should know better (e.g. HCQ and Masking)...it's a very easy decision for me...and frankly for virtually everyone I know or come in contact with.
More to your points, though...this is not "the Flu"...the Seasonal Flu never came close to overwhelming or HC systems...did it?...Also...even though 80% of COVID deaths involve those over age 65, that still leaves 20% under 65, or 180,000 people in just 2 years...probably 2X the number of all automobile fatalities...that get's my attention, for sure....plus, there are the "Long COVID" sufferers.
But let's again pull back...vaccines are free...easy to get...and super safe...what could possibly be the reason not to get vaccinated?...it's an extremely easy calculation to make for all age groups...not more challenging than getting a MMR shot, or a Polio shot...really.
