……..Of course, they will claim that they are “moving toward normal”, but if this were a planned movement (which it wasn’t), there would be a uniform approach. In reality, Lib Govs are jumping off of the sinking ship as elections appear on the horizon, and they see that fewer and fewer of even their own liberals are complying. It’s hard to keep up the charade when the rest of the world is moving away.
Too bad it couldn’t be as a result from actual CDC leadership recommendations. But I guarantee that Fauci will change his rules to fit the population sentiment rather than lose control.

Oh Boy...no, it's not 'Libs losing control'...those states are seeing significant drops in case and
hospitalization rates which allows them to predict that conditions will warrant a relaxation of mitigation efforts...in 2 - 6 weeks, not today....for instance...

These, and other states will be keeping an eye on the data...not listening to folks like yourself.
People have reached their limit. Sunday in NY, the local bagel joint stopped requiring masks and I
visited a brewery on the east end of Long Island. Probably a hundred people there...saw one worker wearing a mask.

Just got off the phone with a "Cousin-in-Law" of mine who lives on Long Island...he and his wife
have been 'good soldiers' throughout COVID...fully vaccinated and boosted...always wearing masks when required...just recently, they went into Manhattan for the first time in ~2 years...went to a play and dinner at their favorite restaurant and stayed at a very nice hotel for the night...dropped a lot of cash, but had a ball. They've also signed up for two cruises over the next few months...one to the Caribbean and one to the Mediterranean...in each case, all passengers need to be fully vaccinated and boosted, then tested w/in 48 hrs of boarding...masks required for boarding as well, but not mandatory once on the ship...anyone who tests positive is immediately quarantined on board...
Just saying...things are getting better...especially for those who have abided the advice of our medical community.
Awesome. Fauci will have to get ahead of this fast and ease restrictions for appearances.

….he is giving it a week before the mask mandate ends because it would look more obvious he is capitulating to the will of the people. I suppose that will be chalked up to science.
Fauci should be out within the day to get in front of this.
