Now that we have had very successful therapeutics available to treat Covid and people have had 1.5 years to get vaccinated if they wanted to, the liberal hypocrisy and hysteria over Covid has finally started to backfire. Everyone is over it... even the liberals. Queue the next link from Tyrone.

deals specifically with all the questions people have regarding "Are we there yet?" for COVID-19. Also, you should note that effective COVID therapeutics are not widely available, like the vaccines...the new Pfizer pill (PAXLOVID) is very complex and difficult to manufacture, so only certain groups of people will qualify for the treatment in the next few months...meanwhile, we have tens of millions of unvaccinated people who are 'sitting ducks' for a virus that still causes severe illness and death.

We're not there, yet...but some of the more anxious sections of the country are acting like we have reached an "Endemic" state...not true...but the trends are positive, so there's definitely hope.

btw, I'll never understand the aversion to links of credible, supporting information...why do you think that happens here?

Actually, COVID therapeutics are pretty readily available...

is there enough for 100% of covid infections? No, obviously not... but even through the surges, there has been enough to provide them to those most at risk for serious infection. You act like 100% of infections require hospital care and that simply not even close to accurate. If you take into account home positive tests, those that refuse to be tested by have a pretty good idea they have covid (i.e. loss of taste, smell, etc...), those that are asymptomatic completely, and finally those with confirmed positive PCR tests, I would estimate that likely only in the neighborhood of 1%-3% of positive cases require hospital care.

Attached are the recommended therapeutics...and, per an email exchange with my personal

physician just last week, they are not readily available for anyone who would need them right now...the situation will definitely get better, especially for 'PAXLOVID' pill treatment...just don't spike the football now...

btw, those treatments need a prescription so folks can't just show up at CVS when they have a fever and cough...they'll need to get and use those test kits...even a properly employed antigen test will provide needed information.

There are still 20-30 million vaccine holdouts at risk...let's not serve them up to COVID-19 on a platter by jumping ahead of the case/hospitalization numbers that justify relaxations...if everyone does the right thing, we should breathe easier in a short while.

director of our infusion center, chief medical officer, and chief of nursing. It is literally a daily status call of where we stand with covid. I think I may know our status and the status of the virus in our region as we are the only regional medical center that serves a 15+ county population. I am well aware of the process of getting the infusions. If your area is not getting the supply of infusions that are needed, maybe they are doing something wrong.

The lack of good data with this virus is the primary reason we have any issues what-so-ever.

Is there anything I posted and linked that you take exception with?
