for vaccinations by Cruise Lines, but they won out in order to serve the desires of their customers for "Safe Passage"...how is this going to look on his 2024 'Resume'?...someone cue Baron for his spin on this.

Parenthetically, I know of a couple from Long Island, NY who are now booked for two cruises in the next three months...happy to spend their money now that they don't have to worry about nonsensical fellow passengers...

Did you miss the "Updated February 09, 2022" notation at the beginning of the article?...not sure

what it is you're talking about...fill me/us in...nonetheless, as the article says...ALL the Cruise Lines are going with some form of "Mandate"...and making money again...you have a problem with that?

Holy Cow. You guys are unbelievable, completely control media. It's Aug 15 2021 when I read it 2 hrs

ago. Obviously, the writer is a pretty crappy journalist. She was only told by you to update the date. I am sure she didn't touch the contents. I won't tell which part. It is a fraud, very bad journalism.

taken care of...what say you about all those Cruise Lines "MANDATING" that passengers and crew be vaccinated?...Apparently, those independent companies figured out what customers wanted...i.e. to feel safe in confined quarters, so they could freely enjoy themselves...and they will.

Meanwhile, the unvaccinated can huff and puff on the shoreline extolling their "freedom"...what fools...what ignorant, self-absorbed fools.

DeSantis is the Dems worst nightmare and they will attack him mercilessly.

Young, vibrant, well-educated, politically clever and psychologically balanced.

Instead of attacking Trump the Dems should do what they did in the 2016 primaries... and boost Trump.

He's the Dems best hope to winning in 2024.

Thread Level: 3

LOL...DeSantis is doing all the 'heavy lifting' for the Dems...this attempted Cruise Line ban...

completely nonsensical COVID strategy...'cooking the books' on FLA cases, hospitalizations and deaths data...yet still ending up with well over 60,000 deaths...plus the recent Marquette Univ. national poll shows him losing to Biden in 2024, should both of them run.

DeSantis is trying to wrest away the bottom-of-the-barrel, Seditionist voting block from Trump...that leaves all the traditional conservatives (see Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, and even Mitch McConnell) out of reach...and more than likely most of the Independents, too...hey, anything can happen, but that doesn't seem like a winning hand right now...IMO, Ron DeSantis is going to "tack" away from the Seditionists before to long...he does have intelligence...just not much 'wisdom'.

Nobody cares about cruise line bans... it's all about inflation AND senility.

Frankly, based on their respective decision making thus far, Biden is out-pointing DeSantis...

we're headed toward full-employment...the Fed is expected to hold to their already established plan of slightly increased interest rates over the next 1-2 years, and with the prospect of COVID becoming "Endemic" this year, inflation should abate...granted, this is my opinion...but the inflation comment is buttressed by info from one of the top economic advisory firms in the country/world.

Meanwhile, DeSantis flounders with ill-advised attacks on one of FLA's most visible industries...and exposing the fact that 'The People' want what he's opposing...vaccine mandates so they can safely enjoy themselves....he's making poor choices, mostly out of desperation in the midst of a fracturing Republican Party...meanwhile, the Dems keep their factions together, while negotiating internally to find common ground on shared policy goals...big, big difference.

Inflation abates (post-COVID), that will likely change...also, Biden has already faced the American public and won...DeSantis hasn't, and he doesn't have much to run on...especially when it comes to his results in his home state of Florida...of course, it's no done deal that Biden will run, but should those things I mentioned come to pass, then any Dem candidate would be able run on a platform that delivers for everyone...and again, DeSantis has next to nothing...not even a single sellable item from Trump's admin...Oops, I forgot about that for a moment...DeSantis, or any GOP candidate would have to shoulder that burden as well...too bad.
