Ignore the shallow minded for they are weak in spirit.
Per the Trump/Gilead playbook, they viciously attack anyone who speaks the truth, further exposing their own complicity in normalizing a corrupt administration.

They all hated Romney for putting his dog on his roof, but now he is amazing and smart and principled. It all comes down to whether they agree with him or not. Just politics.
the Trump Economic Comeback continues to roll forward while the strongest Dem candidate he can muster is an old, angry, white, male communist.

D,s choose to see the facts one way ankd vote for impeachment. R's choose to see the facts a different way and vote against impeachment.
But not Mitt.
It is far more statistically likely that Romney, who had a long running open feud with Trump and who was turned down for the SoS position by Trump, would vote against his conscience than that all 52 of the other senators voted against their conscience.
But, of course, you choose the improbable because it fits what you decided long before the impeachment even started.
