China fucked up big time, but what we need to do now is get through the current situation. Trump doesn't know how to deal with anything other than find a foreigner to blame. Keeps his base behind him even though he totally botched our initial response. But as long as everyone stays mad at the Chinese (common enemy) then he looks good by comparison.

and negligent in our ability to respond to any possible pathogens citizens here might contract.
Disarming our National Security defenses which include the CDC is always someone else’s fault in Trump’s world and in the world of his supporters.
Keep Trumpism alive, bury your head in the sand.

The truly deranged are the MAGA hoaxsters, you know those who dismissed this early as a hoax to get Orange, those who have supported his reckless spending and tax cut, those that didn’t care that he constantly talked out his ass and lied over 10K times. Those that loved “Trump being Trump” as it pissed off the libs. Chickens coming home to roost.

Also the investment end of it was a joke as what it mostly did was allow stock buy backs by the wealthy who then sat on it.

China needs to pay in some way, but the response needs to be measured and well thought out. 'Measured' and 'well thought out' will never be used in the same sentence with Trump.
But that's for another day. The focus now should be 24/7 on protecting the good 'ol USA.

He’s doing better. Not great, but better.
But trying to shift blame to China for our ongoing inability to test people - friends of mine have been told that they probably have it, stay home, we’ll call you in a few days when we can test you - is not helpful.

....if you want cheap, potentially unreliable tests out fast like in some other countries, then you shouldn't have been opposing tort reform for all of these years since compainies want to make sure to get it right. Trump has waived the regulations on the pharmaceutical and testing industry (gues whose admin put in the most of those regulations?). Also, in the US (under Obamacare too), the tests come through the providers, not over the counter, so of course widespread cheap, and potentially unreliable testing that could worsen the panic are not as available as in other less careful countries. But either way, if you wanted that, then you should be blaming others including yourself, but not trump. He has lead well.
We need international cooperation, not blame-game nonsense.
That goes for domestic politics too.
....I agree about the blame game. It isn’t productive.

in China. You are Obama, right?
Joe Biden repeatedly lied about being arrested trying to see Mandela and authored the widely panned crime bill, while we're on the topic of racism.

revenue and not income and now all sit around wondering why we may not have enough ventilators and don't have the manufacturing capacity.
They are completely nuts.
They are happy that this happened, but they are starting to realize that they have gone too far with their nuclear option of fomenting panic.
