I don't imagine that there was this kind of bickering during WWII. It seems like many here are rooting for the virus and the collapse of the economy. God forbid that anyone would post positive revelations. HOWEVER... the Spanish flu led to the rise of nationalistic authoritarian movements throughout the world as people desperately wanted closed borders to keep out alien influences. Those who are presently rooting for the virus today may be very unhappy if this happens when we get to November.

There's no one on this board that is rooting for the virus. No one. Not a single person. This is fucking ridiculous.

You have my apology.
This govt effort is Fauci, Birx, and Pence. Trump is just in the way with his BS as usual.
No one wants them to fail. If Trump gets the credit, fine.
The level of TDS that the Chinese virus has brought out is off the charts. My favorite has been him talking about hydroxychloroquine and getting bashed about it and Cuomo bringing it up and being applauded as a great idea. And then there is the whole ventilator situation of Cuomo bashing Trump and then admitting he has been storing them.
The daily press conferences with the media are more proof. Even members of the task force are now scolding the press for their reporting habits. Both Fauci and Birx have had their turns telling them off. So maybe not cheering for the virus but rooting against Trump is not much different.

I've never heard anyone that is remotely fun or attractive use that word.

You may want to think that through again.
Everyone wants out of this mess. I think a better view is that many are blaming Trump for problems that are not of his making.
The only real argument is whether he's handled it well. There are legitimate arguments to be had on both sides, and there are partisan spins on both sides. No one is willing to risk dying of the virus, or almost certainly losing a loved one, to be able to say "I told you so".

You can root for ND to win, and still criticize Brian Kelly (and even blame him when we lose).
Because that is what others are doing. I like your analogy, because these people I am calling out are very similar to the fans who cheer for ND to have a losing season so that they can finally get rid of Kelly.
I know you, Lehigh, and frankly, my criticism doesn't apply to you. But there are others here that I am spot on in my assessment.
He’s as demented as Cole and 64 but lacks the occasional informative post they provide.
He also won’t see this because he’s a gaping vagina and has me in ignore.

An analogy you might understand: I've criticized Brian Kelly on this site numerous times. I've never rooted against ND. I've never hoped they lose so Kelly gets fired. Same is true here. I hope to God that the Trump admin does what is needed to bring this thing under control, but when they fuck up, I will point it out.
Understand the difference?
Has done nothing right since this has started because I don’t remember you ever saying it. Hell, Frank even says the travel ban was the right call. And he hates Trump more than anyone.
The problem is are is it’s always negative and Trump will never do a thing that is right. Just because it’s Trump the haters quickly jump to the opposite side just because he said it. See the racist comments about the ban and never admitting he was correct.

Given that every post DRO makes is an implied or inferred attack or brings bad light to Trump in some way, it is entirely reasonable to conclude what Tampa has.

My point is that no matter what Trump does, the left is bound to take the other side with hopes he is wrong and they can use it as a political talking point. I'll give you credit, you are at least willing to bend and say the travel ban was correct. It probably hurts like hell, I get that too. I have said before, I hated Obama (still do) and spent little to no time listening to him talk. I really think if Barry was still sitting in the WH, this Chinese Virus would not get the same play as it's getting now. He would be protected like he was '09 when 12k died from H1N1.
