From up in Rooneyland, eh? As a true crime guy, I had never heard this of unbelievable case before. An ordinary Ontario man received a "Christmas gift" in the mail in December, 1996. It contained a letter and a flashlight. The last line of the letter wished Wayne Greavette a Merry Christmas and stated, "...I hope you never have to buy another flashlight." Wayne pressed the button to turn on the flashlight and it exploded, blowing him apart, with his family standing around him. I will warn you: the 911 call is brutal to listen to, as family members scream and try to help Wayne, who is in bits and pieces.
