Tell me something positive that's come from your self-isolation experience.
For me, two things stand out.
1. My HS girlfriend reached out a couple of weeks ago and we had our first conversation in over 30 years. What a fantastic walk down memory lane.
2. I have a legit excuse to grow out a great 1970s hairdo. It's glorious. I had longish hair to begin with but I haven't had a haircut since December. Drives my wife crazy (in a bad way) when I swing my head quickly to get the bangs out of my eyes. I don't want to ever get it cut again.

Oldest daughter and I doing an impossible puzzle and I look like Grisly Adams.
I’m taking a hygiene sabbatical and spending quality tim with my oldest. You never get that back.
My handlebar mustache is coming in very nicely...just starting to be able to twirl the ends.
Zoom call with siblings was great fun, and never would have happened. Same with roommates/friends from ND.
My college aged daughter has been home for an extended period of time.
With college out of state, study abroad, and summer internships, she hadn’t been home for more than a few weeks in years. She graduates in May, and has accepted a job out of state, so it has been nice to spend time with her. Even though we are both busy during the day, we do have meals together and other time together.

The cooking has been pretty fantastic. Trying new things and new favorites every night
Had a lot more Asian ingredients in the pantry than I ever remember buying. So Bulgogi, Korean Fried Chicken, Veggie yaki soba, chicken lettuce wraps just with stuff we had.
It also has let me work with my son, he prepped and smoke a rack of ribs yesterday. He knows how to season and grill a perfectly mid rare steak. He made from scratch chicken parm. This is a kid who could not turn on the oven a month ago.
My daughter is baking nearly every night and making delicious things that I cannot eat due to my type 1.
I already worked from home, I already generally hated talking to others and I already had a real bad drinking problem. So I was built for this
Korean Fried Chicken...I'm definitely interested. I'll be googling that tonight.

Agree on all fronts. The evening meal is one of the highlights also what bottle of wine to select, and what cut of meat to either grille or sear on the stovetop and finish in the oven. We have rediscovered a local neighborhood meat market but also come to realize Costco has really good red meat department....USDA Prime beef that is quite good.....
Already worked from home as well so nothing new there, just not having to head to the Atlanta airport every week. Our 23 year old daughter is working/living from our house instead of her apartment and that has been nice as well.
Have yet to hit the tatoo parlor, bowling alley or movie theater despite the governor's saying it's safe.
Can't wait to book a beach house near Destin as quickly as possible.
