They never locked down. Their rates of death per million (254) are far less that any other major European country other than Germany. They are about the same size population as Michigan, Ohio, Georgia or North Carolina. Michigan has a much higher deaths per million rate (388), but is totally locked down. Georgia has a much lower rate (113) and is now becoming the most open state we have. Both Michigan and Georgia suffered huge unemployment increases because of the pandemic... but Georgia is opening back up. Michigan is probably going to hit 40% unemployment and a collapse of its small businesses. Michiganders are miserable. Georgians have hope. How sad?

Not saying their approach is wrong, but let's not spin it.
This was/is the only rational way to deal with this particular disease. Oh! Their population density is twice that of Norway and Finland.

From the amateur all knowing epidemiologists that we have here, I understand that herd immunity is reached at 60-70% of the population. You have any idea what that number is here? And let’s just for grins and giggles take a realistic death number of about .35%. You know how many people that equals? You think that’s trivial?
