it's the packaging it comes in that is of concern. With all the hands a package goes through by the time it gets to your shopping cart is the issue. Not sure what you can do about it other than disinfecting all of your groceries. That's what we do.
I buy most of my meat from a local farmer processed at a local butcher shop.
But adding a highly contagious virus on top is still not good.
