residents from entering the state until July, and then, they must bring enough food/water to isolate in their rooms for 14 days before coming out.
The woman apologized profusely and said, "it's utterly ridiculous".
I said, "It will all get better for them on election day, and not before", and she said "absolutely".
I told her that I understand that all states with Dem governors are now paying a steep price for their voting, and again she agreed wholeheartedly.
I wished her well, cancelled my trip there, and rebooked to go to Mt Rusmore. Fuck the liberal states. I'll take my money to the place that wants to work.

My wife and I did this 10 years or so ago and are taking the kids this time, we are driving.
Day 1 Sioux Falls SD - Falls Park, SculptureWalk and the arc of Dreams
Day 2-3 Rapid City, SD - Badlands NP, Custer State Park, Wind Cave NP, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Jewel Cave NM, Minuteman Missile NHS.
Day 4 - Billings, MT - Devil's Tower NM, Little Bighorne Battlefield NM,
Day 5-9 - Yellowstone NP & Grand Teton NP
Day 10, long ride home.
I'll add the following comments:
- Deadwood during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is a treat. Must like bikes.
- the Little Bighorn Battlefield is an unheralded gem. I absolutely loved that place. If anyone is going though, you need to read up on the whole battle before you get there to fully appreciate it. It is so thoughtfully, respectfully laid out. I was very impressed.
- if you're going to Little Bighorn might as well drive up to Red Lodge, MT for the evening. Stay at The Pollard, right on the main street. It's a great old hotel.
- From Red Lodge, you can then take the Beartooth Highway into the NE entrance to Yellowstone. It's a fun, relatively easy switchback drive up to 11,000 feet and then back down the other side. Much easier drive than Going to the Sun Road.
SD, WY and MT are just amazing states.

Agree, SD, WY and MT are amazing states, really want to get to Glacier NP one of these years.
L.A. county extend stay at home through summer. WTF. They know they don't have financial resources to support their lockdown. Nevertheless, I hope LA residents drive to Orange county for shopping and bring sale tax revenues to Orange county.
