Forcing people to wear masks in public places is not tyranny, driving military vehicles down residential streets and shooting people on their private property is.

....while I am not ever justifying firing something onto a front porch, what were they doing at the time to trigger that response since it does appear that people may have been doing something. (Were they pointing a rifle at them, etc.?). Even so, firing anything onto a porch could hurt innocent people or children.
i am against all intrusions by the government on our rights - both kinds.
Not even remotely the same thing.
This right here is Fucked up.
This needs to be addressed by the governor of that State.
Was that in the UK?

And got splattered by paint. Horrifying.
What threat are people sitting on their porch on their private property?
Regardless of the wisdom of not following the orders from the police, my point is this what real tyranny looks like. Not orders to wear masks in Wal-Mart.

I really don’t see any parallel at all with pandemic orders. Even chief mask-mocker Baron Zemo MD wears a mask in a store. The vast, vast majority of people followed pandemic orders. When they didn’t, they didn’t set police stations and businesses on fire. Get some perspective, dude.

That said, they should have gone in when ordered to, but why were they ordered to?
Regardless, my point is it seems a lot of people are okay with police-state restrictions on their personal freedoms to protect them from angry black people, not okay with it when the orders are to protect them from a pandemic.

Technically the cops can say they violated the curfew by not going in immediately when ordered to, but seems the intent is to allow people to be outside on their property unless the shit is actively going down, which it wasn't here.
valid though.
