The cop asked him for his ID and demanded to know what he was doing? In the middle of an open green. The one cop beat hugs this man and demanded he put his hands behind his back - problem is, he couldn’t do that as the officer had pinned his arms to his side. Then he throws him to the ground.
What is also remarkable in this video is his immediate fear of the cops and how accustomed to harassment he is.

The allegations outlined in the article are fairly commonplace. Often, there are genuine mistakes made by police officers, but law enforcement has enjoyed an increasingly wide berth for over-the-top conduct for way too long. That will all change after George Floyd.
It will take time for Congress and the states to find the equilibrium point for immunity in sorting out frivolous vs meritorious police brutality claims.
