I saw a report that indicated that they are illegal (by treaty), but as far as I know, that is not the case.
Using those is certainly better than using nukes.
t's likely to get worse. If Putin isn't taken out by his own people, there will soon be reports of firing squads and deaths of women and children.
It should be pretty easy for the Ukrainian artillery to hit it. They should have all the coordinates locked down for that.
The fact that the Ukrainians aren't hitting it is worrisome for Kyiv. They must have pulled back their forward observers, or the Russians must have taken out the Ukraine artillery in the north, or both. Not good.
I’m surprised the Ukes have lasted this long.

The jets would be flown by Ukrainian pilots. Of course, all these internet reports have to be taken with a grain of salt. This particular report came from a Ukrainian English language news site, and may be pure propaganda.
The thousands of man-portable anti-tank weapons coming from other NATO countries might actually prove to be more effective, though, since they are easier to hide until use. But, they have to get there. Delivering them will be a challenge.
500 French troops have arrived in Romania, along with weapons. Germany and the US just sent fighter jets to Romania. I just saw that on a Romania English language news site. Romania borders Ukraine.
