He just doubled down on his support for her.
A child sex trafficker.
Unbelievable.

You know like what happened to Epstein. Maybe he wants her alive so she can eat on all the Dems and Hollywood Elite?
The Clintons had lots of chances to kill him while they were in power and didn't. Only when Barr got him did he end up dead.
But I digress....you think Trump's comments on Maxwell are appropriate or not?
Of course, they had no reason to kill him until he was arrested, so pointing that out is kind of weird.
Was made about them. But the selective outrage is always comical. And no, The Clinton Body Count is growing.

1) He is telling her to be quiet and this will be okay for her. In this scenario, he knew for a fact she was using Mara Lago as a hunting ground and doesn't want that info to get out. Trump's supporters think that b/c he wasn't a child molester himself he's safe here. Remember, no one accused Joe Paterno of being a child molester either.
2) She was previously nice to him, and he's such a sociopath that he cares more about that than the fact she is a serial child abuser. This is how he views the world. Everyone who likes him is great (even when they are despicable), everybody that doesn't is horrible (see John Lewis).

Never assume malice where ignorance will suffice.
You don't have to hate and fight people when they wrong you...you can just assume they acted out of ignorance and move on. It is one key to living a happy life, in my opinion. No one else is able to claim a spot inside your head.
Granted, at some point, you will encounter true malice. But, I think there is far more ignorance out there, and far less malice, than people usually think.

And the ignorant are usually teachable with a soft, incremental approach.
But after the backlash those comments got, I don't think even Trump is that stupid.
But maybe. He did say that he didn't know she was charged with child sex trafficking in the same interview. When the interviewer challenged him on that, he seemed to back down indicating that he did know and was just playing dumb.
That says a lot about him. Many politicians have that quality, but he has it more than I've ever seen. He knows he will be attacked either way, so he just sticks to his guns even when wrong. Even when he can run from his errors, he won't; he will actually bring them up again himself. Very strange, IMO.
He was wrong the first time and knows it. So instead of admitting it, he's sticking to his guns no matter what. This demonstrates why he is such a dangerous leader. He will stick with any failed policy, philosophy, hire, friend, etc, b/c to him that is better than ever admitting he was wrong about anything.

...in the long run, that is.
If Biden is elected, he will, no doubt, undo the effort Trump has made to protect American jobs and American technology from a despicable regime that we may be fighting in a war sometime in the next 20-30 years.

Trump views Maxwell favorably b/c she was nice to him when they were in the same social circles. That outweighs her heinous crimes.
