I don't know about you, but it's difficult for me to envision the survival of the human species if we lost these types of minds and iron wills from the gene pool.

Just curious what your day-to-day risk is. I assume you are bravely on the front lines of this?
In a couple weeks, I will go back to in-person teaching. And, no, I haven't been frightened at any point, nor am I frightened about returning to school with students.
Some advice that all of us could do with: toughen up, understand that our forebears suffered much more than we ever have and ever will, and stop blaming others for our problems.
