...especially to those of us who aren't fans of Trump.
for him. Joey isn’t any great shakes, but the alternative is light years worse.
In 2016, you may recall since we had the discussion, I stated that I would NEVER vote for Hillary Clinton but that I did not feel Trump to be qualified for the office. Hence I voted for neither. (I do always exercise my right to vote and wrote in my choice.)
Amazingly, in 2020, I am faced with the same prospect and am quite disgusted by it. When a crisis actually befell the country, Trump performed as I suspected he would. He is not up to the task and prefers to wish things away instead of properly dealing with them. His communication and messaging is simply bizarre. However, I do not consider Biden at his current age and in his current state to be fit for the office in the least. I fully believe that Harris will be president in 2 years, give or take. I have no desire to vote for that either.
I personally do not believe in voting for the "the lesser of two evils" in the case where both choices fall below a minimum threshold.
"Hey, Biden is better than Sanders anyway" doesn't float my boat in the least.
Your’s is a rational position. No problem with it.
We're picking one or the other. If they both have the same fault (to the same degree), then that fault can't be a reason to pick one over the other.
