My last (non-church) gig was March 14, 2020. I am supposed to play an Indy500 party next Saturday.
Any advice from those who do not put clown face emojis in their subject line? (no offense, of course)
If it was indoor at McSorley's in Manhattan's East village, or even at the Linebacker....maybe not.

Money, booze and babes all factor into any such decision.
Of course you are right. Money, some. Booze, plenty. Babes, mostly married.
Because there is one party that gravitates to that solution.
Regarding your Q, for me.....it would depend on my risks and on those of the rest of the band members. No amount of mask wearing and distancing will avoid an increased risk.
But on the other hand, you cannot live your life in fear from now on which is being encouraged in the media.
This virus has a very small chance of killing you just as many other things already did.
The odds of dying from COVID aren’t that much different than having a stage accident, and that never stopped you before.
But since there are others in the crowd to think about, even if you decide to do it, I would rec that you guys get tested yourselves so that you minimize the chance of exposing others in that setting.
As opposed to having to go to message board to find out if it is safe enough.

between band and crowd? How dense will the crowd be? Strange questions but these are strange times.
We got the amps to hang out and jam early evenings by the beach. Won't play Friday-Sunday though due to density of people and lack of ability to maintain space.
These folks will not be wearing masks. There may be a decent crowd, but they will not be right up on us.
