Observational studies of hydroxychloroquine given to patients well before potential hospitalization show it works extremely effectively, as both Dr. Risch (Yale Medical) and Dr. George Fareed (formerly of Harvard Medical) have pointed out.
I understand observational studies aren't the gold standard, but when two Ivy League professors say the studies are valid, echoing what thousands of doctors who are actually out in the field practicing are saying (as opposed to theoretical eggheads), something in the medical community is broken.
Which is not relevant flor HCQ, apparently.
“It does not work” - a pretty definitive statement.
