It was shown on Tucker Carlson's show tonight. Just as we renew our baptismal vows occasionally at mass, by saying " I do," the parishioners did the same with a series of prayers denouncing aspects of white privilege.
Catholic re-education camp?
At the 53:20 mark in the mass...
Walk away from that church
People can certainly get to heaven by other routes, but the easiest path is the one with the 7 sacraments to assist along the way. The goal is for everyone to successfully make the journey. It doesn’t make sense to ignore God’s assistance to me.

And not above criticism
Silly me. I would just tell the priest he’s full of shit.. I don’t leave The Church because of a goofball priest.
He is a small part of a larger problem and it emanates from Rome and the globalist flooding of sovereign nations with refugees who hate Christianity
The Church polices its own, but very slowly, with an eye towards the next few thousand years, not next Tuesday...rightly or wrongly, that is what I see. It is hesitant to step on heresy too quickly, without full (very full) investigation (perhaps due to lessons of over-zealousness in the past). Priests are not infallible, though. If they speak against Church Doctrine, they are doing exactly that, speaking against Church Doctrine. They are not changing Church Doctrine. The sacraments they administer are still (absent special circumstances) still valid. Holy Communion does not become invalid because a priest is a sinner, for example. So, they still serve the Church and the parishioners even when in error. Because they are not infallible, there is some responsibility on parishioners.
Social Justice Catholics".
The latter have been known by other names over the years.
Some observations:
The most distinguishing feature about them (though not universal) is the disregard for the sacraments(they don't believe in them as taught by the Church).
Marriage is the most widespread - a sacrament between a man and a woman, and a lifelong commitment except in very exceptional circumstances.
The Eucharist is the real body and blood of our Lord jesus Christ - present through the miracle of Transubstantiation. It seems that many of the Social Justice group do not believe this.
Confession - this seems to be the first sacrament disregarded in regular life
The others follow.
Now again, I have met some social justice catholics who haven't made the full jump.
I suspect that there will be many of the older Baby Boomer hippies of the 60's and 70's who will go that direction, and there were a lot of them. But those orders are dying out it seems because they didn't really believe in what they are doing. They seem ashamed of who they were and ditched their habits and hid their collars. Every one of these Social Justice catholics that I have met has been a liberal and a Democrat (though certainly not every Democrats is Social Justice catholic)..
But the young vocations are coming in good numbers now, and they are markedly more of the orthodox variety.
I hope that the social justice catholics stay with the Church and the sacraments since it is what really defines our faith. I hope that these observations are too harsh, but I thought that I would share them.
Orthodox. Caring. Smart. Educated. Devout.
and as MAS has correctly pointed out, this was a direct reflection of the infiltration of homosexuality into multiple seminaries. The pedophilia victims were almost exclusively if not all boys.
I agree with the sense of optimism since i see it also. There is always good ready to spring forth from even the worst of situations. The young vocations are drawn to an actual faith. The same is true for the orthodox convents - there are large numbers coming in again.
I have a friend whose daughter just entered an orthodox, habit wearing order. There is a local order of the same denomination, but they are quite liberal and social justice oriented. No habits (in fact, I would say offended and insulted by them). Very liberal philosophies and reflected in their local catholic college which is highly liberal, and has produced many a fallen away catholic.
I asked with trepidation if she was joining the local order (which is fast dying out), and my friend told me that her daughter said, "My vocation is to be more than just a social worker", and thus she decided to move out of town to an orthodox order.
He wrote an apology letter, and he never appeared in our church again.
Sounds like more of a NY problem, than a Catholic problem. Totally insane.
the church.Catholic charities is a way station for illegals in Ulster County and Dutchess county. Now that the economy has folded all the illegals who were working off the books are overwhelming the safety net and the idiots who pushed for sanctuary cities can't provide for themselves let alone people who can not work in industries like restaurants that are now closed.
Give them your money
