These are really important bilateral deals.
They ease trade restrictions, promote intercountry transportation/flights over Saudi Arabia, let Bahrain and UAE have access to technological solutions regarding clean water that Israel has solved years ago, and allow intelligence sharing to combat Iran and terrorism in general.
So basically these deals strengthen the countries that sign them.
Imagine being a leader of Bahrain and advising your people that you have solved your country's water problems and made it safer.
Win-win.
Weird the other countries who signed the deal have elected to keep with it...🙄

The point was WITHOUT any mitigation and going the route of herd 'mentality' that is how many people would've died. Still with some sort of mitigation we lead the world in deaths and cases. Go figure.
