That’s a litmus test for the D’s. Strange that the two Obama justices don’t have children. And I’m sure neither one ever dealt with abortion personally
Wonder why? We all know the answer. But a catholic woman with 7 children should be disqualified. The D’s are the party of rejects. Normalcy is suspect.
Stack the Court w/ cops and criminals so the Court can better understand criminal issues.
Stack the Court w/ regulators and polluters so the Court can better understand environmental issues.
Stack the Court w/ LGBTQ folks and people of color so the Court can better understand inequality and discrimination issues.
Take your Den Mother nonsense to your next soccer mom ZOOM session.

I kid, I kid! I actually have no idea.
But regarding qualifications, it's completely irrelevant.

My mother is one of 7 children, as is my wife.
And I think it's nuts in 2020.
Absent monetary concerns, i would've loved to have 6 kids...
Edit: Also believe there are less women who would acquiesce to have 7+ kids these days if they didn't wish to have that many
12 kids with 8 women.
Other than that, I think we're in agreement. The major problem with it is the lack of time even more than the cost. I don't think it's fair to the kids to be raised by the nanny.
A relative of mine raised 10 kids on her own, and she did just fine. The older kids just stepped up. The kids just learn that family comes first, and you do what is necessary. No nanny is necessary. Some of them are very successful. I'd call it a total success story.
A parent, even if they don't work has a limited amount of time. It's funny to me that we all want our kids to go to schools with smaller class sizes yet some of us think that having a bunch of kids is a great idea.

I still have my doubts.

Pretty soon, we will be like Japan. Everyone will get their kicks from a computer rather than a spouse, and the population will be crashing.
Just stop making kids until there are 30000 people. It'll solve all of our problems.
First World nations are definitely under control...but, I'm not sure the way to solve any perceived global population problem is for First World populations to crash their economies by dipping below replacement level reproduction. Well, I suppose that does solve the problem, through starvation.
normal. Matter of fact, that number was just a half way point to some.

I've done some genealogical research, and as you go back in generations in my family, it goes something like 4, 6, 8, 10, to 12-15 in the 1800's.
So, things are definitely changing.
I know a few families with 5 kids, none with 7. My grandpa was one of 13, but that's back when kids were disposable after birth instead of before.
