...as elements of the Right finally begin to consistently participate in "mostly peaceful" protests?
If the Republicans regain both houses of Congress in a backlash (probably unlikely if the Dems play their cards right and admit territories as states to pack the Senate), which States do you think are most likely to be split up by the Republicans to generate more Senators for the Republican Party?
Texas is an obvious choice given the historical Texas Divisionism movement (that Texans still talk about today, but is mostly unknown elsewhere).
As to others, who knows. Maybe Oklahoma? Some of the southern states? Maybe Utah or Montana or Alaska?
Things are about to get interesting.

McConnell has already packed the federal judiciary, beginning in 2015 when he shut down all federal judicial nominations made during the last two years of President Obama’s administration, building up over 100 judicial vacancies for Trump to fill upon taking office in 2017.
In fact, one of those nominations was Myra Shelby, nominated in January 2016 for the vacant 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. Amy Coney Barrett filled that stolen seat.
So, if the Democrats were to pack the Court(s), it wouid be perfectly consistent with what has already happened since the GOP took control of the Senate following the 2014 election.
Hence, your premise is flawed.

By the way, Obama failed to make over a hundred appointments...choosing to leave positions vacant. That was often touted on the Right as incompetency by Obama; interesting to see the Right being blamed for it now. But, let's assume you are right, and it is 100% the GOP's fault...how far down the rabbit hole will we go?...will cooler heads prevail? Or, will each side use whataboutism to justify their next escalation? No one has packed the Court...you know that means increased the size of the Court for political gain (although FDR threatened it). No one has packed the Senate by admitting States just to gain political advantage...in fact, back in the day, the admission of States was typically a negotiated thing to preserve balances of power for the Democrat slave owners.

represented on the Court ever since.
equalize matters is a post election consideration if they win the White House and Senate.
Splitting the state always creeps up in California, but the costs of division usually outweigh the benefits.
Not me though, I can live in the woods.

As for me, I donated to Tulsi Gabbard, so they will pass by my house, right?
