The US is kept in the loop, but is not being relied on to lead.
At home, we are really in big trouble. The polls are the only thing causing Dems to push back.
The problem with Biden issue just the vacuum of leadership he represents, it is that he and his handlers instincts are so epically bad (“let’s cut a deal with Iran again now that we are at a disadvantage - we can do even worse than JCPOA” for example). “Let’s remove Nord Stream 2 sanctions while crippling or oil export capability” for example.
“Let’s not worry about the Taliban moving in Afghanistan after we telegraph our withdrawal”. The examples are incredibly numerous for just one year.
Go ahead and name someone/anyone who is competent.
They are either geriatric or psychologically adolescent.
The party ossified around old themes from the 1960s and never moved on into the modern world.
The best we can hope for is that the collapsing polls will drive them in better direction.
