It is about rescuing our country from a profoundly damaged, dangerous, defective man.

young all have to row their oars this time. We can go back to our respective corners after this infestation is exterminated.
It will be fun to watch them feud over their very different agendas.

If you mean by rescue:
- raising taxes, increasing regulations and thereby harming the economy
- attacking and undermining the one industry that has given us energy independence
- entering into terrible agreements like the Paris Accords which hamstring our industries with regulations while do nothing to China for ten years
- continuing the swamp of corruption
- destroying the judicial branch of government
- watering down the senate with two additional states
- continue the profound evil that is abortion
- attacking the 1st and 2nd amendments
- opening the borders and devaluing what it means to be a citizen
- disincentivizing research and development in our great pharmaceutical industry
- destroying our healthcare system with a government run system - when has the government done anything well except defense
- undermining our police and fostering a culture of anarchy
- continuing to absolve individuals of personal responsibility
- furthering the culture of victimhood
- increasing dependence upon the government
- stopping the momentum of peace in the middle east without involving the terrorist state of the PLO
- allowing Iran to recover and eventually get a nuke
- allowing the mainstream media and big tech to assemble more power
- allowing Russia to further threaten its neighbors and for China to take Taiwan
Then I guess you are right, rescue.
Grow a fucking pair, so Trump is mean, and uncouth and an egomaniac - so fucking what, he is doing what is right for this country and taking the actions necessary to preserve us for the next 00 years. Quit being so offended and look at POLICY over personality.
Really appreciate your sharing those concerns...seriously. As Curly mentioned, there are other opinions and perspectives that need to be "dialogued", and I'll join in later...but on your second point "attacking and undermining the one industry that has given us energy independence", I'd like to refer you to an earlier thread I offered entitled "Numbers, not Adjectives" in which I provided a link to a book that deals with 'Energy Strategy' (linked again for convenience).
In his introduction, he gives three thoughts that motivated him to write the book...a) There are credible concerns that oil reserves are not keeping up with consumption (i.e. British Petroleum (2014) stated their belief that global oil reserves would last ~53 years with expected consumption levels (now pegged by other sources as 47 years)...b) foreign sources of oil (of which we still import/rely) cannot always be counted on (I lived through the 1973 OPEC Embargo)...c) A sudden surge of CO2, when added to that naturally released by our current 'Milankovich Cycle' could indeed be cause for concern.
If you'd like, let's dialogue more on this.

And I suspect that Trump makes the division worse... as shall President Harris.
Trump did nothing to start the division. It started a long time ago and Obama had a unique chance to heal the county and he made it worse.
It was not Trump or the republicans who are divisive.
1. they started talking impeachment before he was even inaugurated,
2. Countless Dems skipped the inauguration
3. They did not accept the results of the election and peddled false stories for three years
4. It was not the republicans who treated Kavanuagh horribly
5. it is not the republican's who stoke racial division.
Quite honestly I think most people on the right dont give a shit about skin color, sexuality etc etc etc until it gets thrown in their face constantly and we are bombarded with the message that if we are white we have privledge and are inherently racist.
The left thrives on division because it keeps a segment of the population thinking they are the victims and nothing is their fault and only government can fix things and help them. The right loves equality of opportunity - fairness, unity.

If I were guaranteed the Dems would not win the Senate I would roll my dice with the feeble old political hack even though he will be soon replaced by a thoroughly unlikable gold digger. She would probably end up being as divisive as Trump. But the probability of a President Harris and a Dem Senste terrifies me. They could change election laws in a way that would make us a one party state ruled by coastal elites.
We will all effectively be ruled by coastal elites in league with the ChiComs. The center of the country will be hollowed out except for corporate farms.

Why don't you stupid people listen more to us!?!
Boy, Copernicus is breaking new ground with this screed!
Since we have "We get it, Biden is old," on one side, I think we need a, "Trump is a mean, narcissistic poopypants" on the other side.
Son to get rich. Don’t forget supporting rioting and looting. Or as the Dems call it, Peaceful protesting.
