From researchers at the University of Hong Kong, whos studied 14 randomized controlled trials of various factors in virus transmission:
"Although mechanistic studies support the potential effect of hand hygiene or face masks, evidence from 14 randomized controlled trials of these measures did not support a substantial effect on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza."
"In pooled analysis, we found no significant reduction in influenza transmission with the use of face masks."
"There is limited evidence for their effectiveness in preventing influenza virus transmission either when worn by the infected person for source control or when worn by uninfected persons to reduce exposure. Our systematic review found no significant effect of face masks on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza."

I do think that this article is definitely worth parsing, but it’s game day.
Remember to read and think, and don’t just trust it because it’s from someone you thought that you could trust. Remember also that even the NEJM was found to have been fudging and manipulating because at the end of the day, all people are subject to pressure and their own biases at times.
Just promise me that you’ll not listen to Kamala Harris, and that you’ll get your vaccine as soon as it comes out.
That decision is a lot more important in actuality.

But you should also go and hang out with hundreds of others who refuse to wear masks. You just shouldn’t be near or hang out with those who wear masks.
