He took his test Wed and found out Thursday which means it will be Sunday Nov 8th before he can play again.
Yet, they are saying that “as soon as he started to have symptoms, he isolated himself”, and that he isolated himself earlier than the test results.
Since these rules are in place supposedly to protect the student athletes specifically, and to halt the spread of COVID generally, how can they let this happen? 10 days from the diagnosis (With subsequent negative testing additionally) is the intent of the rule, and a virus does not care about loopholes and National Championships. If they believe this rule, the PTB’s will object. If they don’t think it’s real, they will look the other way.
I’d like to think that rules are in place for a reason, even if you’re a Breck Girl.
You owe me a dollar if you tie this in to Trump or Biden. I’m putting it on this board anyways because I think some won’t be able to RESIST.
....is 10 days from the positive test or the onset of symptoms. So that would change the calculus.
Don’t know if true, so take it FWIW.
I hope he plays.
guessing he'll play against us if Covid-free by end of week.
That is a perfecxt way to play any player that you really need. Just say that you had symptoms and started isolating.
And it has no actual impact on when he stops being infectious to others either way.
Having Lawrence without a week of practice vs. the backup with a full week under his belt...let's see how the backup plays against BC.
But, I get your point: Let's face them at full strength. But we have had to have backups play, and will have to do so...just part of the game. In the end, I don't think it matters.

I'm not worried either way, and i want him to play from a competition standpoint. But why jump through hoops if you don't really believe them? And if they believed them, he would not be playing.
It's like Leonardo DiCaprio jetting to Europe to accept his Global Warming award.

They’ll roll out the two negative tests, etc etc.
I’d rather have him play, anyway. Beat them with him in the game. If we beat them without him there will be all kinds of moaning about it by Herby & Co.
