I’m not sure why we get so hot and bothered. I suppose it’s like be a fan of a sports team. I’ve been disappointed but only for a short while and then I move on. That’s why the only thing that matters to me is that we not drag this thing on for months. It would be worse than another Jon Bennet Ramsey or OJ kerfuffle.
If the electorate doubles down on Donald Trump, we will be forever diminished as a nation, as a people.
Fact.

Just re-watched Chernobyl. Nothing in the way the government reacted reminded me of Joe, believe it or not.
If that isn't peddling communism, what is?
And make no mistake... the dems are not electing Joe for the 4-year term, he is on the ballot for votes and votes alone. Everyone knows he isn't making it four years... he is a means to an end to get a far left progressive in the white house that would never have had a chance at the top of the ticket.
I mean seriously, she had to drop out of the primaries months before a vote was even cast.

And obviously, if equal results there is no incentive to work.

He hasn't done anything outrageous other than open his mouth.
I'm positive that it came from one of the 15 in that magnificent NYT piece that you linked to the other day.
BTW, don't you enjoy David Frum moralizing to us? He's another one of those neocon ghouls who helped us into the Iraq abortion, and now he lectures us about immoral behavior in the White House. As the saying goes, "You can't make this stuff up." Kinda like my link to coverup extraordinaire, John Dean, who also lectures us about immorality in the White House. Such clowns.

Have you ever heard of the Marshall Plan? A U.S. program providing aid to Western Europe after World War II. It started in 1948 and provided more than $15 billion to help finance rebuilding efforts on the continent. The Marshall Plan halted the advance of Soviet power in Western Europe. THe NATO Alliance of 1950 permanently halted the advance of Soviet power into Western Europe. With these two programs you could easily say that Truman brought down the Soviet Union. The Berlin airlift and Cuban Missile Crisis halted the Soviet advance. Nixon's rapprochement with China further weakened the Soviet power. Numerous battles and confrontations in a war that continued for 40 years contributed to the final outcome. To lay the victory at the feet of the man standing at the final collapse is preposterous. All of these efforts were fought and won against the Soviets, Reagan kicked the field goal at the end of the game. That's all.
Closed societies run by repressive elites are too inflexible to adapt to an ever changing world. This is fundamental Darwinism and it means that the ChiComs are not destined for world domination, because like the Soviets they create nothing! Our system allows for constant correction of course in every way. As long as our government does not take over private enterprise we will always adjust. 20 years ago we were dependent on oil imports and now we export. Our high tech companies dominate the world because they were created by private institutions. Today Google, Apple and Amazon have replaced GM, IBM and Exxon as the richest companies just as they shall be replaced themselves in the near future. Reagan had no more to do with this than Al Gore did with the internet.
When it comes to "imploding" it is a race with your opponent. Now, we are racing with China. We need them to implode first. This election is about that in many respects. Biden will enable China to last longer; Trump might accelerate things over there, like Reagan did. China needs to keep its people employed. If it can't, it is in trouble. Jobs are fleeing China right now...not just to the US, but to Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia.... The plan is working...will Biden lengthen China's run like like Ted Kennedy would have done for the USSR? We may find out. I'm not sure how much longer we have, with the way the Democrats are trying to make sure we implode first.

back 10 years. We will discover the mistake by the midterms but the effects of the new left will last for 10 years. Easily the most important election for anyone who has responsibility or is close to retiring.

Some thought Obama would be the end.
Some thought Trump would be the end.
At least Joe sleeps a lot.
...limited ourselves to candidates who can only diminish us. Those days had less pomp and circumstance than tomorrow will...but were ultimately more defining.

Your comprehension and binary responses remain the same. As for your posting dissonance, there's probably a behavioral therapy session available at your local psych ward.
