Just wish he didn't use that putting method.
He used to hit the ball very long and his iron play was almost better than the rest but the yips continued for years and this really prevented his step up to the next level. He is probably the most determined player to turn around where his career was frighteningly heading by going with the long putter and doing a mental makeover that few could ever achieve.
Wasn't it Tom Watson who almost won the British Open a few years back? Dropped some shots on the back nine to lose it but was leading most of the day on Sunday? I think it was him....
