That’s what you get when you have a sociopath as leader, who undermines the national public health advice at every turn.
Show us the stats of those states that are still locked down vs those that have yet to issue mask mandates.
Not that complicated.
If we had competent, consistent leadership from the beginning, things would be much better now.

This despite his loss in the election. Oh and it was a bigly loss too.
If he lost the election, his last day should be mid-January.
his being in the white house fomenting distrust in our democracy.
Yes, all countries that are our enemies tried to break into our elections but thank goodness they didn't.
He will concede when the legal battles are over. I don't believe there is enough fraudulent activity to overturn the results, but he is allowed to let the process play out. My hope is that the fraudulent activity is exposed so it can be avoided in the future.
He later retracted his statement because the State of Florida called for a recount because the vote was too close to call. The Florida Supreme Court called for the recount where the US Supreme Court halted the recount mid-way
which gave Bush the presidency.
If you're going to throw out facts, know them first.
Let the votes be audited/counted accurately and then declare the winner. Why are you so against that approach?
The State of Florida initiated the recount and the US Supreme Court stopped the recount midway which gave the election to W.
If by what you said you’re willing to be faithful to, Gore should have been POTUS.
All the States Biden has won do not trigger an automatic recount the way Florida did in 2000. Therefore no recount is available.
But that’s not what R’s claim. You all say massive voter fraud gave Biden the election.
You’re arguing no facts to support a misconception.
Gore then tried to cherry-pick counties for manual recounts... all the legal battles ensued until the final verdicts were handed down.

I'm sure your dementia guy will love that.
I'm copying from an earlier thread post where I conveyed information from an extended family member who is an Infectious Disease specialist on just this issue...here it is...
"If I heard right, it's not enough that the vaccine could be 90% effective...it matters 'how many people actually get vaccinated'. The medical community would like to see something on the order of at least 60-70% of the population inoculated, however, right now that seems to be the percentage of Americans who DON'T want to get vaccinated. Additionally, there needs to be a well-functioning test/contact tracing system in place.
btw...for comparison, the Measles Vaccine is 99% effective and a sufficient percentage of the population gets inoculated, so even though it has a "Contagion Factor ('R-naught)" on the order of 18 (very high) we are all able to go about our normal lives. COVID-19 has R0 factor near 5.7, I believe, so if we work hard at mitigation and all get the vaccine, we'll get through this."
Hope this helps...in any event be sure to follow the advice of medical pros...mitigate, vaccinate and get all your family and friends to do the same.
I'm also not convinced about the utility of rt either. At least not in real-time. Our local rt was around 0.78 in late September and now we have multiple times more infections than ever. And that was when most people were masking.
In any event, if a vaccine is 90% effective and you get the vaccine, it seems like the odds of you getting it and/or passing it on are extremely low. If the vast majority of high risk people and health-care workers are vaccinated in the first few months, then risk of serious illness or death would seem to be very very low.
Then again, I'm not an epidemiologist.
mentioning it...my Infectious Disease (MD) relative is extremely concerned about the current spread of COVID throughout the country (btw...spouse is an ICU Doc...equally concerned) and its effect on the HC systems wherever that spread appears. I used the R0 factor of COVID in relation to an even higher factor for Measles (R0 between 12 and 18) to hopefully instill confidence that even an extremely contagious pathogen can be controlled...IF we follow professional medical advice (mitigate, vaccinate, test and contact trace).
This whole thing sucks...but with diligence and trust we can get through it.
