I have been a mask wearer consistently and a hand nazi for many months... tested positive this morning with minor symptoms.

It's about viral load, if anything.

Masks probably work a little but good luck to you. Hopefully a light case. Problem never solved

Wore 2 masks all of the time, made kids wear 2 masks, had a filter on vent in closed private office, ripped on ND students hard when they stormed field at Clemson....predicted dire consequences for students and players.
.......well guess who got a positive result with very minimal symptoms the week before?
That’s right.

Meanwhile, how is ND doing?

Karma.

They don't care about biden. It's all about the fear and hatred of Trump.

Hysterical, irrational fear.

Masks are not a reflection of fear, tough guy.

Tougher than you will EVER be.

I wear a mask. I think they help. But they are absolutely not failsafe.

It is much more important to wash your hands frequently. Which I also do.

I also wear gloves while out shopping.

I didn't need anyone demanding I do It. I've been doing it since February.

You politicizing the pandemic is childish.

I don't stop going to the dojo. I can still do kata and social distance.

I don't stop going to the range. We all wear masks and sanitize the area after shooting.

You whine about everything.

Some tough guy you are.

I would be little nervous about the dojo with all the sweat flying around during kata and I assume

no sparring there. I take reasonable precautions and I turn my head away if others are going by me if I am running or exercising. I have limited my workouts to running and about 5 sets of pushups and exercise bands in my house. A little boring but I am no longer driving to gym which saves about 45 minutes a day on top of workout time with weights.

Couple of other black belts in attendance.

At least 10 feet apart at all times.

Shoes worn, masks, gloves.

We have 125 years combined experience.
Heavy sweating not an issue.

Masks prevent kiai pollution.

No showers, no common towels, no fist bumps , no bag work, no sparring.

No common weapons katas.

It’s all sane. It’s all good.

No political agendas. Just common courtesy.

I work my Iaido katas in a local park.

My physician friend who is in charge of all things COVID at the largest Healthcare network in our area swears that masks are very effective (if both people are wearing them). I just see so many examples though of them not working.

I myself always mask up and wash my hands compulsively.

I don't believe illusions because too much is for real.
