We will eat early, and then deliver food to my parents (84, 85), and then to Mrs. Lehigh's parents (76).

Aberlour, High West Double Rye, and 20 Year old Tawny Port.
I'm half way through my Balvenie. Sounds like Aberlour may be like Balvenie (not smoky), based on the description at Total Wine & More.
and tried samples from the various regions?...eyes open wider if you did and ordered one (or more) with dinner at the "Witchery"next door? If not...I'd recommend putting them on your 'bucket list'.

comfortable, relaxing 'process' of knocking on my parents door...walking inside...getting myself a hefty glass...pouring some scotch...then sitting down with my Dad for a relaxing conversation, especially this time of year...very good memories, enhanced by one of life's simple pleasures.
