The causes of that slowness are, of course, controversial. But even gvmt officials are acknowledging major problems and failures.
But it ought to infuriate all of us. They knew it was coming. Normal life further postponed.
I actually thought they’d do better. Fool me once...

In a tweet on Tuesday, President Trump seemed to lay the blame on governors, saying that it was “up to the States to distribute the vaccines once brought to the designated areas by the Federal Government.” But several governors have recently said their states have struggled because they had not received enough money from the federal government. What is supremely ironic is that we all know that governments are horrifically inefficient at everything. The wisest thing to do would be have the drug manufactures simply distribute directly to nursing homes and hospitals and let them vaccinate the elderly. The death rates would plummet. But instead, we are allowing state government bureaucrats handle distribution.... and they are worse than the fed bureaucrats.
You would think with his business acumen he would have had the Supply and Distribution planned. Who the hell creates a product and then assumes someone will deliver it?
people survive in the doom and gloom world. But as MAS put it yesterday, you're "Mr. Whiny Guy" so I shouldn't be shocked

You know, because Joe has accomplished so much in his prior 47 years of getting rich. You have really high hopes for someone who has done so little in his life. One may call it false hope because he isn't Trump. But, as one poster put it, "Joe makes everyone he is around better". You can tell that by his crack head son.

To some, apparently, only the private sector counts as “doing something.” Therefore, Trump has done a lot, I guess.
Or something.
Mindlessness.

until we rolled into that area. I also have my fair share of ND shirts and hats along with my daughters softball teams. From travel to HS to college. It's quite a collection. Nothing like your pastel golf shirt collection but still a nice array of shirts.

Imagine if we had spent, I dunno, 2% of our national security budget preparing for a pandemic?
Thailand had a test in hours, it took the CDC 46 days. Doubtful that more funding would have helped.
