I'm just curious because for the past the past few years it's all been about who and what you do not like. Let's assume the Dems can do whatever they want and the Republicans are now simply irrelevant. What are you top five or so social, economic, political and foreign policies you are all hoping to see implemented?
I propose using the Japanese internment camp model.

Same way no one is going to tear down statues of the founding fathers. Your dismissive condescending joking prognostications typically come to fruition.
Do you ever tire of being wrong about things?

goals. Revise fed court system and consider implementing max term appointments, especially for Scotus.
Restore pre-Trump alliances but hold firm to others paying their fair share toward defense alliances.
Fuck Russia hard. Then fuck them again.
Create a new strong pan Asia alliance to offset China's economic and [future] military aggression.
Our healthcare waste is an economic killer. Corporate tax rates were too high and now are too low and loophole ridden.
The McConnell fed court packing system needs revision, esp regarding the attempted politicization of Scotus.
Bonus: Determine whether Kavanaugh actually warrants a criminal referral for perjury regarding his statements
about his time in the Bush admin and other matters.
And how specifically do we "prioritize" health care? Do we go full monty on nationalizing or just provide a government option insurance plan for those lacking coverage?

Joe Manchin, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski will be the Power Brokers.
Translation: Center left/Center right agenda.
1. Social - nothing.
2. Economic - Undo the personal income tax changes under the the Trump admin. Leave corporate taxes alone or raise only very slightly. Also, intelligently analyze the cost benefit analysis of each regulation eliminated under Trump. It seems he was single-minded in trying to undo what Obama did, as opposed to intelligently discerning which regulations caused disproportionate economic harm. Go nuts implementing new climate/environmental regs.
3. Political - Not sure what this means.
4. Foreign Policy - Try to repair damage to alliances. Work on getting back into TPP. Work on getting another Iran deal (maybe send them more pallets of cash?). Work on tariff reduction. Punish Russia for hacks and bounties and everything else. Punish China for human rights violations and other bullshit (using legit international mechanisms and not unilateral tariffs).
Happy New Years Holmes.
But YOU have always seemed like someone to negotiate with on a rational basis. It's important to note that the more strident posters on this board who suffer from unresolved Oedipal complexes remain fixated on their surrogate moms (ie., the government tit) and killing off their surrogate dads (ie., the private economy breadwinner). THEY have no interest in policy discussions or eschewing ad hominem attacks in lieu of open debate. Anyway... Happy New Year Lehigh, My favorite cousin is a Lehigh alum and raves about the school.
support for...
1) A clear national Energy Policy to fill the gaps left by reductions in Oil and Gas usage. (Energy Choices = Climate Change Action)
2) Aggressive, well planned, and thought out, Infrastructure Programs
3) Common ground on a HC policy that reduces national expenditures to ~1/2 of today's cost, while ensuring that every single citizen has a personal physician.
and many, many others that I wouldn't mind highlighting.
BTW, for real, sustainable progress, there needs to be Republican support, or we constantly "flip-flop" on key issues that affect all Americans. Note that on the energy issue, France was able to secure such unanimity around nuclear power, in the face of a common threat (i.e. the loss of reliable energy (e.g. Oil Embargoes))...it can be done.
