I vividly recall the huge collective sigh of relief on Nixon's last day.
NO ONE in the country was upset but him.
Sadly, there will be two huge groups who shall still be in various stages of mourning for months this time around:
a) the cultists suffering from a missing daddy complex and
b) the haters suffering from a mommy fixation.
Hopefully, most of us will move on and simply be grateful if the anger rhetoric dies down a bit.

Biden's presidency is illegitimate. This will be like 1930's Germany with him in charge.
Yes, I'm making fun of Democrats. Nothing like challenging an election for 4 years, then using "whataboutism" to try to prevent the same being done to them.
I guess everyone here likes living with strife.
I suggest a serious meditation practice.
It will be good for your physical health as well as mental/emotional well being.

That suggests that those who are need not respond.
For me, I will be very relieved, but I wouldn’t describe it as happiness after the damage he has done to our political system.
Those who should be happiest... are actually sad to be losing a hate object they so desperately need. And so they shall rail against him even when he's gone... until they can fixate on another hate object to express their inner rage against.
I know I won’t be, and you and some others here will be very surprised how quickly he is no longer the dominant theme in political life. Sure, he will be out there but will have nothing like the power and influence he has now.
I also love the classic defense attorney technique that his admirers use when even they can’t defend the indefensible. Attack those who are right in calling him out. Contrary to your Freudian gibberish, no one needs Donald as an object of hate, anymore than anyone needed Nixon, Clinton, or Obama for it. He will fade away also just like Tricky Dick and the others.

But, they were members of a cult, and so they deserved what they got.
Or not. Or maybe he could perform an abortion on the resolute desk and his cult would blame it on the media.

his every move. There are a few on here who love to see what he is doing and then run to the board to post it. I don't see that changing any time soon.
Me, I would have preferred another 4 years of Trump. I won't be heartbroken on the 21st though. I will treat Biden the same way I treated Osama. Not take him seriously and won't care what he has to say. I can always pop on here for the "experts" take on what is going on in Washington. I'm sure Joe won't be put under the same microscope as Trump. The Press won't push him and the tough questions will go out the window. Not sure what they will call the reporters who push Joe because the racist term that was used for anyone who disagreed with Osama won't apply.
I think you know the answer to this poll. We can all rattle off the names of those suffering from TDS.
Trump is done. The Republicans are already fighting over who inherits his base.
Other than his legal and personal troubles, right now he is the most viable R candidate if he wants it.
Not to say he WILL get it. 4 years is a lot of time.
It’s not impossible though.
MSM will continue to put a mic in his face to talk.

These went way beyond "deplorables" and "bitter clingers." Maybe Trump represented a natural further devolution from the nasty Dem epithets... but I hope we have hit bottom with our abuse of one another.
than calling 70 + millions Deplorables. Fuck that bitch

officials continue to push bullshit rules down our throat, it will only get worse. These same rules that those officials refuse to follow. People are pissed off and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
