RAFFENSPERGER: We believe that we do have an accurate election.
TRUMP: No, no, you don’t. No, no, you don’t. You don’t have, you don’t have. Not even close. You’re off by hundreds of thousands of votes.
RYAN GERMANY, lawyer for Georgia secretary of state’s office: This is Ryan Germany. No, Dominion has not moved any machinery out of Fulton County.
TRUMP: But have they moved the inner parts of the machines and replaced them with other parts?
GERMANY: No.
TRUMP: Are you sure, Ryan?
GERMANY: I’m sure. I’m sure, Mr. President.

Judging by his tone, Mr Germany has no clue on what has happened to the voting machines. Why was this private call released? These Georgia elected are Stacey Abrams' little elves. Listen to the people of Georgia and they can't believe these are the cowards they elected.
threats and assumptions all the way through.
The guys on the call are Republicans that were trying to do their job. As for why the call was released, Republican Brad Raffensperger, the SOS for Georgia has been the target of misinformation and distortion. He chose this time to have a record of the conversation. He did not release it until Trump tweeted more distortion the morning after the call.
As for being cowards, they have been receiving threats to themselves and their families. Yet they are still doing their job according to Georgia law. I'd say brave micki-fickees.
Every day Trump defies the odds by proving to be even scummier than we thought he was.
That call cries out for a criminal investigation. If not, our slide down the slippery slope just got faster.
I'm too busy trying to convince BK what changes we need in recruiting and QB/offense p[production. I can't fix our offense and jail all the Trump supporters at the same time. Not enough hours in the day.

...to deter future would-be tyrants.
Otherwise it will just be the first of many attempts.
But, better to wait until evidence of other criminal wrongdoing is fully uncovered.

Even a law professor should know that. He will be gone on Jan 20 and then unless he resigns first and Pence pardons him for any Federal crimes he may have committed, Cy Vance will still put him on trial and convict him.
Maybe Letitia will get him.

of country when it's just hatred of one man who beat your candidate in 2016. Your party never got over it and you continue to stomp your feet, much like Trump is doing now. Funny, you find it distasteful when he does it but the 4 year temper tantrum was ok.
for running a shitty campaign. I still do. The disgust (I like that word better than hate) I feel for Trump grew on me over the last four years. He is as you said above a "scumbag." I think our country will be better off once he is gone. Unfortunately, like you, I think he will hover over the country and republican party for years.
The 3-4 others hang on every tweet to post it here. Others just spam the board with Wapo articles. Trump isn't going away anytime soon. His base is too strong and he gives the MSM someone to despise since Joe is going to be boring. CNN and the likes will continue to feed into Trump and people like Hannity will continue to throw him on with hopes on saving his ratings.

I liked Trump because he shook the political world and the "elites" hated him. That made him more appealing. He is a scumbag in his own way but no different than the rest of the career politicians that are out there. He loves attention and the MSM gives him all of what he needs. It's truly amazing the people that hate him yet hang on every word he says. I don't get it. Nothing will happen to him after he leaves office. He won't be indicted and he won't be prosecuted for anything. He has way too much money for that to happen. Those thinking that are playing with themselves (to quote my father in law).
Do you see any issue with them "leaking the call" to WaPo? I know Project Veritas was drug across the coals for doing that to CNN and Zuckerberg with their daily calls. But yet, not a word is said here about them doing it to the President.
This time he was going to have cover if it happened again. He didn't release the tape until Trump tweeted another false accusation of their conversation. Trump tends to use the bully pulpit and this time it backfired.
I don't think he will be charged for this and the other investigations may even slip away. I wouldn't be surprised if Biden and Trump work out a quid pro quo pardon deal for him to disappear.
As for hanging on his words, you are right. But he is a bully and I enjoy seeing him getting his comeuppance.
That crosses the line for me as he still controls the DOJ.
If he had a decent lawyer who he would actually listed to, he would know his best chance to stay out of a Federal jail would be to resign after Jan 6 and have Pence pardon him. Not sure Pence would be dumb enough to do it, but worth a shot. Of course, that won’t keep him out of a New York prison.
Is this like all the other "gotcha" moments from the last 4 years? You flipping people are hilarious. DJT is not going away. All you message board lawyers can conspire and bring up charges and feel good about it. Taping and releasing a private phone conversation seems to escape you folks though. Too funny. No problem with Hunter our boy or Biden's connection with the Chi-Coms. Not even a passing interest to look into it. How about Fang Fang and our esteemed Rep Swalwell? Any interest into investigating that?

Here's one that's true. You're full of shit

Especially the last sentence when he tells him how to avoid the problem.
TRUMP: But the ballots are corrupt. And you’re going to find that they are — which is totally illegal, it is more illegal for you than it is for them because, you know what they did and you’re not reporting it. That’s a criminal — that’s a criminal offense. And you can’t let that happen. That’s a big risk to you and to Ryan, your lawyer. And that’s a big risk. But they are shredding ballots, in my opinion, based on what I’ve heard. And they are removing machinery and they’re moving it as fast as they can, both of which are criminal finds. And you can’t let it happen and you are letting it happen. You know, I mean, I’m notifying you that you’re letting it happen. So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have because we won the state.
