I consider Reagan's age to be the absolute upper limit that a president should be elected to a first term.
Trump was too old as far as I'm concerned.
It may turn out that way. It may well not though. With a 50/50 Senate, he may be able to get some stuff done if the R’s are inclined.
He also showed some grit and determination when behind and written off in the primaries. One of the biggest turnarounds in political history.

We should not be electing presidents over age 70 to their first term...
