In a simpleminded manner, Ned equates the insurrection as a "tit for tat" "right v left" criminal mischief and vandalism.
The marches this summer were righteous, conducted outdoors, protesting the disparate police treatment of minorities. The entire world supported the movement. There were Aholes who destroyed and vandalized property. not as part of the George Floyd movement, but simply of random acts of criminal conduct condemned by all (including Biden) as lawless.
Yesterday's storming of the Capitol was an insurrection, designed as coup to dismantle a free and fair election. It was a direct frontal assault on Congress and our democracy.
Yet, because the insurgents were white and support Trump, Ned wants to know what all the fuss is about? He will soon learn.

By the way, Biden has consistently condemned violence. I have pointed out that only assholes get violent at protests. Assholes. Unfortunately looters and anarchists other types of assholes were present at some of the BLM events.
