I give you credit for at least seeing the hypocrisy of the left in ignoring Waters. I actually heard Trump's entire speech in its' non MSM propaganda edited form. It will not win any awards, but it was not an incitement of riot. maxine, on the other hand, is doing exactly that, and the MSM and Dems say nothing whatsoever.
Oh, and when you're a US congressman, inciting riot is still bad and worthy of removal.

...I just don't think that he incited the riot intentionally. In typical fashion, his rambling was a mess. But he did specifically have a moment when he had walked up to the line and realized it...and he specifically said that "we will march peacefully" and he repeated it.
On the other hand, Maxine has doubled down. If any other verdict that guilty is given with any other sentence that the worst given, she wants "even more confrontation" in a setting where they are already burning, looting, and destroying cities as well as attacking police.
Trump is out of office. Maxine Waters is not. For credibility, you need to condemn her actions publicly.

I share your concern about Maxine Waters' comments being dangerous and I hope that she'll take a
moment to channel her 'inner Martin Luther King' and John Lewis (i.e. "Good Trouble") so that everyone registers their emotions peacefully.
As to Donald Trump...the whole thing on Jan. 6th started with him...he chose the date, the time and the place...why?...because it was the last chance to subvert democracy and keep himself in "power"...as opposed to "service". I shouldn't have to remind you of the many, many times he called upon the mob to "Fight" and join him in overturning the election results...it's all on tape.
As for you...you recently 'incited' unrest here on the Board over the claim that Joe Biden was failing the country by not paying any attention to the looming threat of cyber attacks on our energy grid...when I provided incontrovertible evidence to the contrary...that he had launched (5 days before your post) a major campaign for that very purpose...I heard nothing from you...not even a whispered "mea culpa"...there's still time.

I was able to search out the Bloomberg article (from 5 days before BVZ's post) entitled "Biden Rushes to Protect Power Grid as Hacking Threats Grow"...the article then goes into some detail as to who the players are and how the Biden administration is trying to make this a shared program between government and the private sector...if you haven't read it your self, take a few minutes to do so...very encouraging, but of course we all need to make sure 'rubber hits the road'.
Now I've had a fair number of conversations and presentations in the presence of very intelligent and accomplished individuals and my line of reasoning hasn't failed me...but no one is perfect, so again, if I failed to adjudge that the Bloomberg article was clear refutation of Baron's central message (i.e. Biden was not addressing the threat of cyber attacks on our electrical grid), then do me a favor and help me learn what went wrong...that goes for you, too, Baron, if you're reading this.
As far as using the term "incontrovertible", I do stand corrected...absolutely "Nothing" on this Board is "Incontrovertible"...no matter how much evidence is provided.

That is the best way to look at it if I were like the left and only cared about the votes, but
