A couple have come out blaming the low pay in the U.S., so WNBA gals are forced to go to places like Russia to earn. Or, they could put their college degrees in Social Equity to good use here, and earn in the off season.

Have actual Russians been detained? Anyone else? If the answer is yes, then the "it's their country, their rules" conversation comes into play. If no, then something is rotten. Why don't Jesse Jackson or Rev Al or one of these always talking squad members fly over there and negotiate terms for her release?
