Terrific judge. Terrific lawyer.
Any poster below who believes this Justice is under qualified and was nominated because of her skin color, is a stone cold racist.
Fact.
And she's "qualified" in the sense she has the experience and track record. But like all liberal justices, she probably has a poor working knowledge of how to interpret law correctly based on what the Constitution actually means.

He didn't even bother comparing her to 96% of the other available candidates. You can't deny that.

Your reliance on a sensationalized NY Post article is a prime example of an uninformed citizen, predisposed to a negative perception of Justice Jackson, relying upon any rag to reinforce your hateful ecosystem.
Again, we do not have “one size fits all” justice. Real lawyers (prosecutors, defense counsel, and judges) do the real work in trying to strike the correct balance in weighing the aggravating and mitigating circumstances surrounding each and every defendant who appears before a federal judge in a sentencing hearing. Hours and hours of work are spent vetting the information that is presented to a judge before the hearing.

Anything like that to children is beyond me. Those that defend someone like that maybe as bad as the person committing those crimes.

Moron in charge said. He picked her because she was female and black. That was his starting point. Her qualifications as a lawyer and judge came 2nd. You douchebags can keep calling it racist but anytime someone doesn’t agree with you, it’s racist. You’re just an idiot like that.
And if The moron didn’t say that, can you please enlighten us to what he actually said?

And that, abortion would never be my choice, but I won't deny anyone their rights.
I've said it before and was very clear then. Stop with the BS.

Of course, you risk a scolding...
"If you don't vote for me, you ain't black"
"the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean."
"You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent."
Then he also called Robert Byrd "his mentor"
There's probably material from Clarence Thomas' hearings as well...

Her because she is female and black. People point out that the moron said this and then did it and you idiots are calling those people racist?
Did I sum them up correctly?

Be confirmed. Good for her. But it’s not racist to point out what the moron said and then did.

Though Biden didn’t want him on the court and neither does Jim. Because Jim thinks a black guy doesn’t belong in that position. You know, Jim is a racist that way.

Let's see. What race is he again? That race card you desperately trying to play doesn't work here. Only in your knitting circle.
Second time in a week a blatantly racist post gets called out and is defended with “you’re playing the race card!”
Nice try.

Gotcha.
Totally plausible.

Lost all meaning because it’s overplayed by you liberals. You and the Obamas have that in common.
It was the Ds who pushed modern affirmative action that we now see. Whoever is running things in the WH pushed for a black female, but not any qualified black female. The fine print said the nominee had to be a liberal left black female. Those were your guidelines, not ours. The left should be proud that their affirmative action was in play. What do I always say? The white left are the real racists. They prove it nearly every single day. I promise you if DJT would have nominated a conservative black nominee, the conservative right would have supported her 100%. The left, not so much.
