The US has a DUI problem.
So, the President announces that he wants to ban home made kit cars (because they don't have VIN numbers).
Granted, it is already illegal to drink and drive in a home made kit car. All they have to do is enforce the DUI laws on all cars, which the car lobby actually supports.
Does this make any sense at all? Or would you say that this is just a play to shore up the President's car-control political base prior to the mid-terms?

If a president banned ghost cars to stop DUI's, do you think that is effective?...or just a president pandering to his anti-car base?
There is an obvious answer, but somehow I surmise that you won't give it. Prove me wrong.

He just doesn't realize that by avoiding it, he looks stupid. He would have been better off not posting that question mark.
His arrogance and his anger are always his undoing. He just thinks he smarter than everyone. It's funny when he does this, but then I start to feel bad for him.

nobody is likely to aggressively defend.
I assume home-rolled cigarettes will be targeted for more regulation by the BidenHandlers next?
Old Joe comes up with another humdinger about him hunting, running across another hunter, the hunter has something to say to Old Joe about banning guns, then Joe has yet another drop the mic moment with the clearly outclassed guy. .
