The basis the district is using is ludicrous... I don't see a way in which the coach doesn't win
the appeal. Explain how the district comes to the conclusion he is violating the establishment clause when he is neither forcing or even asking the athletes to participate. What would the district do if the athletes initiated the prayer time and the coach just joined in? How would that scenario impact the decision?
I believe oral argument begins at 10:00 AM today.

This should be a difficult case for the right leaning activist judges
to rule on. But I see it ending this way - Barrett, Thomas, Kavanaugh siding with the coach.
Alito undecided.
How do you see it ending?

The original intent of the establishment clause was so government did not officially establish a religion that people were compelled to follow or face consequences. We have strayed so far away from that principle that it's become a joke what is considered "establishing" a religion.
The facts are a tad murky for a Supreme Court case.
They typically like a clean set of facts.
I will have a better feel after listening to oral argument.
