I've read the draft of the SC brief and it focuses very little attention on the act of abortion itself.
Its central premise is that the Constitution is silent on the issue, which means that it must be left to the electorate.
This can happen at a national or state level and is how we are supposed to govern ourselves.
The Court is actually trying to stay out of politics.
That is what the framers intended.
This has huge repercussions on many critical issues because the Court has been misused as a de facto legislative entity for so so long.
This is not a decision by "activist" judges... rather it is one by "de=activist" judges who are saying "let the people decide"
Those who are enraged at the potential decision have recourse and the Court is inviting them to seek it.
