Naw! Let 'em freeze and stop driving.
It will save the planet.

also, the U.S. consumes ~18 MBbls/day of oil...the latest estimate of U.S. 'Proven Oil Reserves' is 35 BBbls of oil...(per
the "EIA")
18 MBbls x 365 = 6.6 BBbls/yr...
35 BBbls/6.6 BBbls = 5.3 years of U.S. oil remaining (more from "Unproven Reservers")
How much oil, and for how long, should the U.S. provide to the EU?...Note: our gas reserves are higher...we have ~10.6 yrs of Proven Reserves at current consumption levels...per EIA data.
btw, our recent surge to "Energy Independence" has been made possible by improved "Fracking" technology, which, btw, uses a LOT of 'Fresh Water'...like ~140 Billion gallons each year (enough to serve two cities the size of Chicago)...and a lot of it is being used in the increasingly arid Western States...just saying.
Note: the 'ANWR' Project is assumed to have 4.3 - 11.8 BBbls of oil...or, optimistically, 1.8 additional years of reserves at current consumption levels.
be banned is coal from Russia, which has to wait until Agust. All these so called "phase out" things are just delay, delay and delay. These EU elites know they can't live without Russia oil/gas before they find substitutes. US oil and gas alone can't be completely as substitutes. To be honest to say, we even don't know if US ports still are receiving Russia oil today or not. Russia oil ban of US is through Biden' EO, not the congress' law. Department of Treasury carries this EO. It could take up to months to really end the import.

I understand your point for the short term but nothing like being ready to hit the start button before starring at the edge of the cliff especially, if Euros are going to cut off Russian gas and oil on principle as it seems.
Pumping more oil is the most important thing they could do to harm Putin and cut gas prices at the pump for the beleaguered folks at home yet they are too stupid or too afraid of the climate activists to do it.
