As I've noted further down this thread, the FDA gave "Emergency Use Approval" in December of 2020 and shortly thereafter Joe Biden got his publicized "Shot"...he was not President at that time, and manufacturing had obviously not ramped up in December (what manufacturer would do so w/o FDA approval?)...so his vaccination was shown for the purpose of the "President Elect" encouraging the public to follow his example and trust in the vaccines...also, as a practical matter, it was important for the nation's newly elected leader to be protected ASAP against COVID-19.

btw, as the attached link reports, there was no established action plan for distributing the vaccines to everyone in the USA...guess Trump, et al, were too busy working on their "Coup" attempt.

Not surprising that Baron would join you in this example of 'Disinformation'...it's his stock and trade.

I don't know what kind of business you're in, but in my career experiences, the Trump admin 'effort' would never be referred to as an effective, much less professional "PLAN"...especially since it was the federal government making ALL the production orders/schedules with manufacturers...not the states...i.e. the Feds controlled "HOW MUCH' would be produced...and "WHEN" the doses would be available to those states...thus it was ESSENTIAL for any plan to have excellent communication between the Feds and States...there wasn't any under Trump.

That is false, Joe Biden took office in January, and he was already vaccinated at the time he did. That means that a vaccine was available. He posted a picture of Biden getting vaccinated in December as proof. Per the FDA website "Since Dec. 11, 2020, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine has been available under EUA in individuals 16 years of age and older"

There was more that happened before Joe took office as you know.

The question was truth, and the truth is that the statement by the White House twitter account is flawed. They are trying to take complete credit for the vaccine as if it was their accomplishment, but I suppose to you that is not political "Chaff?"

As I told Jim, if you want to argue semantics about the general public, have at it. The truth is that there was a vaccine available, but the supply was limited because it had only had emergency use approval for a month, and it was being prioritized, as you and I both likely agree that it should have.

The fact Biden had been vaccinated before the new year the vaccine itself wasn't available. Infact the former POTUS was in control of
getting the vaccine out to all Americans of which he had no plans effected. No shots available and there were no test kits available, there was no plan to
get a vaccine in the arms of anyone.

Phizer became an emergency use only on Dec. 10th 2020 and Moderna on the 17th - but again, for emergency only.


Biden was only president elect for 3 months and had no power to make policy or create access for the vaccine.
On Jan 20, 2021 Joe Biden made available to Americans vaccines to thwart C19. His goal was to get 100 million doses
out by in 100 days. He accomplished that in less than 100 days.
He also created a way for all Americans to be tested.

Limited supply does not mean unavailable, it means limited availability. It was approved, and it was being distributed before Biden took office. They were prioritized, as they should have been for the initial rollout. If you want to argue semantics and say that the general public could not get the vaccine because of this, sure, have at it. But I find it rather sad for a White House who is headed by someone who got the vaccine a month before he took office, to claim that it was unavailable.

Again, the statement says that there was no vaccine available. It was available for medical personnel, seniors, and other high risk people before he took office. It's inaccurate.
